...you should come to the BEE-IN, a spelling bee to benefit Small Press Distribution, Monday May 17th at the Crown Point Gallery. I went last year and it was bee-yond fun. Among this year's spellers are cookbook guru Molly Katzen, NPR's Laura Sydell, poet Kevin Killian, plus many more amazing minds! You will not believe what good spellers these bees can be and it's for an excellent cause. Proceeds from the Bee support SPD, the nation's only remaining non-profit distributor of literary small press books.
